Valentine’s Day can be special for anyone, not just for those in relationships, but also, for dear friends. It can be a day for giving candy, flowers, cards, or spend time together. Valentine’s Day is also a  reminder to do something nice for the one that you love. It is also a reminder to get off the fast train of life and spend some time appreciating and celebrating those you care for.
There are people, however, who would prefer to ignore Valentine’s Day: they maybe someone who has suffered a ruptured relationship, loss through the death of a partner, or someone who just feels alone and isolated. When that is the case, we should remember that – God’s love is our first Valentine!
